Terms & conditions
By submitting a pitch or concept (the "Submission") to the Impossible Realms project, you (the "Artist") agree to the following terms with Tide and Bone Ltd, a company registered in England and operating under its creative brand PostRoll. These terms are designed to protect both parties and ensure a clear, fair process.
Section 01
Ownership & Intellectual Property
- You retain full ownership and copyright of any materials you submit, including but not limited to written concepts, sketches, images, or moodboards.
- By submitting, you grant PostRoll a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to internally review your Submission for the purposes of evaluating potential collaboration.
- We will not use, publish, modify, reproduce, or distribute your work in any public, commercial, or promotional context without your express written consent or a signed commission agreement.
Section 02
Originality and Rights
- You confirm that your Submission is your original work, or that you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.
- Your Submission must not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or moral rights of any third party.
- If your Submission includes collaborative elements or uses existing IP, you must clearly disclose this and confirm that you have permission to include it.
Section 03
Non-Contractual Nature
- Submission of materials does not create a contract between you and Tide and Bone Ltd or PostRoll.
- You understand that Submission does not guarantee selection, compensation, publication, or future collaboration.
- Formal work on the Impossible Realms project will only proceed upon mutual agreement and the signing of a separate commission contract outlining scope, usage rights, timeline, and payment.
Section 04
Confidentiality
- Your Submission will be reviewed privately by the PostRoll creative and production team.
- We will not publish, share, or display any part of your Submission publicly without your written permission.
- Unselected submissions will remain confidential and will not be used in any form.
Section 05
Contact and Data Use
- You may be contacted via the information you provide in your Submission for feedback, clarification, or commission offers.
- We may retain your Submission and contact details internally for future project opportunities, unless you request deletion.
- All data collected will be handled in compliance with relevant data protection laws, including GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Section 06
International Submissions
- Submissions are welcome from artists worldwide.
- Regardless of the country you are submitting from, these terms shall apply and will be interpreted under the laws of England and Wales.
- Your rights under international copyright treaties, such as the Berne Convention, remain fully protected.
Section 07
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tide and Bone Ltd shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses resulting from your Submission, including but not limited to time invested, lost opportunity, or disputes involving third parties.
Section 08
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These terms and any disputes arising from your Submission shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, regardless of your place of residence or submission origin.
